I offer person-centred counselling. Much research has consistently highlighted the importance of a good therapeutic relationship as the basis for facilitating change and gaining a deeper understanding your self, others and the world. I use a variety of models in the sessions depending on what emerges in our work together. Among these are attachment theory, early relationships with caregivers, tools and techniques for grounding you in the here and now. I use breath work, parts work and poly vagal theory (which builds awareness of your own nervous systems and facilitates understanding and compassion for your self).
