Support for people living with ADHD and their families

Living with ADHD – or loving someone who has ADHD – can feel overwhelming, exhausting, and isolating. You might be struggling with executive function challenges, emotional dysregulation, rejection sensitivity, or the constant feeling that you’re not meeting expectations. Or perhaps you’re supporting a family member with ADHD and need space to process your own feelings of frustration, worry, or compassion fatigue.

ADHD counselling isn’t about “fixing” neurodivergence – it’s about understanding yourself or your loved one better, developing practical coping strategies, and processing the emotional impact of living with or alongside ADHD. I offer both individual counselling for adults with ADHD and support for family members navigating these challenges.

I have lived experience supporting family members with ADHD, which gives me insight into both the individual experience and the ripple effects on relationships. I work online anywhere in the UK and in person in Bedford, offering flexible, understanding support.

Counselling can help with:

  • Managing emotional dysregulation and overwhelm
  • Processing shame, low self-esteem, and past failures
  • Developing practical strategies for daily life
  • Understanding relationship patterns and communication
  • Supporting partners and family members of people with ADHD
  • Navigating diagnosis, medication, and identity

Why not take the next step?

If any of this resonates with you, I’m here for a free initial Zoom call. This first contact will usually last around twenty minutes. It gives us a chance to get a sense of each other and to chat through what you’re looking for.

Then, if we feel we’d be a good fit you can book in a session. When you email or telephone to arrange this I will get back to you as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.
