Support when everything feels heavy

hopeless, or disconnected from yourself and others. Perhaps you’re going through the motions but not really living, or you’ve lost interest in things that once brought you joy. Depression often brings shame and isolation, making it harder to reach out for help.

Counselling for depression offers you a space where you don’t have to pretend to be fine. You can bring your heaviness, your tears, your frustration, or your numbness, and I will meet you there without judgement. Together, we can explore what’s underneath the depression, whether that’s grief, trauma, life circumstances, or patterns established long ago.

I provide depression counselling online anywhere in the UK and in person in Bedford. My approach is compassionate and realistic – I understand that depression isn’t simply “fixed,” but that therapy can help you understand yourself better, process difficult feelings, and gradually find ways forward that feel manageable.

Depression counselling can help with:

  • Understanding the roots of your low mood
  • Processing grief, loss, and disappointment
  • Breaking cycles of negative thinking
  • Addressing feelings of worthlessness or hopelessness
  • Managing life transitions and changes
  • Reconnecting with yourself and your values

Why not take the next step?

If any of this resonates with you, I’m here for a free initial Zoom call. This first contact will usually last around twenty minutes. It gives us a chance to get a sense of each other and to chat through what you’re looking for.

Then, if we feel we’d be a good fit you can book in a session. When you email or telephone to arrange this I will get back to you as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.
