Counselling for Grief, Loss and Bereavement

A compassionate space to process loss

Grief is not a straight line. It’s messy, unpredictable, and deeply personal. Whether you’re mourning the death of someone you love, the loss of a beloved pet, the end of a relationship, or grieving what might have been, these feelings deserve space and acknowledgment.

Bereavement counselling offers you a place where your grief is witnessed without judgement or timelines. You don’t need to “get over it” or “move on” according to anyone else’s schedule. In our sessions, you can speak about your loss, explore and begin to find acceptance of all your feelings of sadness, anger, guilt or numbness, and gradually find ways to carry your grief while continuing to live.

I provide grief and loss counselling online throughout the UK and in person in Bedford. I understand that the pain of losing a pet is real and significant – often minimized by others but deeply felt by those who loved them. I also work with people experiencing ambiguous loss, and complicated bereavement.

Grief counselling can help with:

  • Processing the death of a loved one
  • Navigating the loss of a beloved pet
  • Anticipatory grief and terminal illness
  • Multiple or compounded losses
  • Relationship endings and divorce
  • Loss of identity, health, or future plans

Why not take the next step?

If any of this resonates with you, I’m here for a free initial Zoom call. This first contact will usually last around twenty minutes. It gives us a chance to get a sense of each other and to chat through what you’re looking for.

Then, if we feel we’d be a good fit you can book in a session. When you email or telephone to arrange this I will get back to you as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.
